The Product Owner's primary focus will be to work with the Technology and guest-experienced teams to determine the best way to set and achieve the business' desired outcomes. This includes the configuration of the system, future enhancements, policies and procedures and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities:
Acts as product owner for one or more products or services through their initiation, development, implementation, support and retirement life cycles.
Prioritises product requirements, develops product and implementation roadmaps, and own the product backlog.
Manages the product life cycle to meet customer/user needs and support the wider business in achieving financial or other targets.
Analyses market and/or user research, feedback, expert opinion and usage data to understand needs and opportunities to develop the products.
Facilitates uptake of products by developing content, training materials, and monitoring product performance.
Directs user testing and product implementation and drives communications and training.
Anticipates changes in user needs. Adapts products and creates product retirement and transitioning plans.
Leads implementation of products to the business.
Experience required:
Product roadmap management and fulfilment.
Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive guest experience, handle guest feedback, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of the business aspects of ePOS systems
Rapidly absorbs and critically assesses new information and applies it effectively.
Familiarity with common software applications for PoS, inventory management (MXP), basic MS Products, Jira, and basic financial analysis.
Has worked in multi-discipline project teams.
