Job Description
- Procurement lead of all workstream as part of the wider Digital Strategy programme. Responsibility for writing and managing tender and other documents.
- Work with the respective teams and functions to produce all appropriate artefacts. Liaise and be the procurement link between all relevant stakeholders.
- Act as subject matter expert in the implementation of procurement approaches while identifying the optimal blend of measurement and analytic technique.
- Support necessary governance forums, aligning communications and messaging with key stakeholders.
- Ensuring strategic decisions, including about prioritisation, are anticipated in advance, and the steering committee team are alerted in a timely manner.
- Engaging effectively with all stakeholders, gaining insights, responding to challenges and opportunities and ensuring work is transparent and accountable.
- Facilitate successful delivery through monitoring and management of risks and remove blockers with stakeholders and colleagues to aid the team's success.
- Brings professional best practice to their roles and teams to create strategies and plans. Shares technical/professional skills and knowledge.
- Manage procurement delivery of all workstreams as part of the wider Digital Strategy Programme in accordance with best practise and Public Contract Regulations 2015. Adheres to the appropriate governance and compliance standards for professional area
- Manage the process of securing all required internal and external approvals linked to Procurement and government spend controls.
- Defining and bringing together procurement needs in line with strategy and workstreams, and support in building business cases
