Procurement Category Specialist | Hybrid | £19.50 per hour | Interim | 3 Months

Client: 

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working exclusively with a leading national Public sector organisation, to recruit an Procurement Category Specialist.

This organisation operates a hybrid working policy, with the ability to work from home 3 days per week.

This position would suit an individual with public procurement experience, able to work under national frameworks and produce compliant tenders.

Role: 

• Support the Category Manager, shadowing them on a daily basis


• Liaise with stakeholders on a regular basis and answer any queries/questions presented


• Develop under threshold tenders


• Undertake request for quotations


• Work under national frameworks, produce direct awards and further competitions

Individual:

• Ability to develop low level tenders 


• Procurement experience within the Public sector


• Track record of effective stakeholder management, displaying great verbal and written communication skills


• Available at short notice
