Your responsibilities as a qualified Primary Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging lessons to students, ensuring their progress with a positive learning experience.
  • Develop personalised learning plans and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students of a varied ability and learning styles.
  • Nurture a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages mental
  • Utilise assessments effectively to monitor students' progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with other members of the school community, and parents/guardians, to create a support system for students.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and techniques to address challenging behaviours highlighting positive reward systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behaviour, and provide reports as required.
  • Extensive knowledge of current primary curriculum.

Requirements as a qualified Primary Teacher:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Ideally have experience working within primary schools or in a similar environment.
  • A passion to teach and nurture SEND need children.
  • Knowledge of effective teaching strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and open to new opportunities.
