We are hiring for Platform Engineer for our client's project based at Glasgow, Scotland
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in one of the programming languages - Python, Java, Scala and Spark.
- Proven Experience Distributed Systems, Data Engineering Products/Platforms like Snowflake/Databricks, Spark, Airflow etc.
- Cloud platforms experience (AWS/Azure).
- DevOps practices - GitOps, Terraform, Kubernetes.
- Strong interest in DataOps/MLOps
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong evidence of Data Engineering work.
- Experience with Snowflake/Databricks, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, understanding of Data products/data pipelines.
