p>Our client based in Portsmouth is currently looking for a plasterer/multi to carryout works/re-active maintenance within social housing/new builds across Portsmouth, Chichester, Romsey, Winchester. You may also be asked to travel to Basingstoke, Reading area, fuel will be supplemented if working out of area. The work will also include other multi tasks listed below under the Plastering sector.

You must be experienced, have own tools and van. Ensure the highest standards of health & safety are carried out at all times, have the correct PPE along with being a good people s person, working within a team and operate on your own.

Your ability as a Plasterer/Multi

• Plastering Labourer - to include removing/taking down tiles/plasterboard ceiling and prep work.
• Solid plastering - patching and skimming walls
• Solid plastering - exterior finishes to include pebbledash, tyrolene and flat rendering
• Dry lining walls and ceilings
• Coving walls
• Artexing - patch repair
• Artexing - basic pattern, stiple, broken leather & bark
• Floor screeding & levelling - patch & whole floor
• Tanking

Requirements

• Level 2 NVQ/Time Served
• Own Van and Power Tools (essential)
• Smart Phone with Camera (essential)
• Valid DBS or able to pass one (essential)
• Happy to work/travel between Portsmouth and Basingstoke (essential)
• Asbestos Awareness Training (preferred)
• Working at Heights Training (preferred)
• Manual Handling (preferred)
• Good IT Skills
• Excellent communication skills with staff/clients/tenants
