I am working with a Local Authority which is currently seeking a Planning Solicitor to attend planning committee meetings in Havant, Southampton, and Fareham. As a Planning Solicitor, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and expertise on S.106, planning enforcement, and development control.

ROLE: Planning Solicitor

LOCATION: Southampton (hybrid working)

RATE: 50- 60ph

CONTRACT LENGTH: 4 month rolling contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend planning committee meetings in Havant, Southampton, and Fareham
• Provide legal advice on S.106, planning enforcement, and development control
• Ensure compliance with planning regulations and legislation
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Prepare legal documents and agreements
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' experience in planning law
• Strong expertise in S.106, planning enforcement, and development control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
