Piping Designer (Plant 3D) - Contract Opportunity - Immediate Start

An opportunity for a Piping Designer to join a well-established organisation on a contract basis. The company specialise in the delivery of project management services, front-end engineering design, engineering, procurement and construction management to a range of sectors including; Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Food, Steel and Energy sectors, plus many more.

You support the clients projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield developments, both offshore and onshore.

The client offers a good working environment and the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging projects.

You will be required to carry out the following duties:

• Creating Fabrication ISO's from Plant 3D
• Modelling piping systems and equipment layouts from P&IDs and site sketches
• Creating Fabrication ISO's from Plant 3D
• Drive model reviews and have an ability to create and keep up to date, the federated model
• Develop BOMs at FEED and Procurement stages

Other advantageous abilities;

• Understanding of Caesar II
• Laser scanning & stitching of point clouds to assist our survey team
• "Twinmotion" or other rendering and animation packages

Do you have the following skills and experience?

• HNC in mechanical engineering as a minimum
• Experience working in Process related Industries, Pharmaceuticals, Chemical Manufacturing
• Previous site based experience, can attend site and carry out site surveys
• Navisworks Plant 3D Experience
• Knowledge of ASME B31, specifically B31.3 Process Piping
