Contract PHP Software Engineer PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, TDD, GCP.

This is a PHP Software Engineer (PHP, Laravel, JavaScript) outside IR35 for an e-commerce company working in a cross-functional team designing, building, and maintaining solutions for an e-commerce platform as well as supporting major projects.

Key Requirements:

• Building web applications using PHP, Laravel or other MVC framework


• Test Driven Development (TDD)


• JavaScript


• RESTful Web APIs


• Couchbase and Solr experience


• Writing clean, well-designed code that follows SOLID principles.


• Developing and deploying solutions to GCP (or similar)


• Software development lifecycle


• MySQL

Key Duties:

• Developing and maintaining features that deliver value to customers.


• Collaborate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from early requirement discussions with Product Owners to deployment to the production environment.


• Supporting other developers in the team.
