Job Title: Performance Analyst and Power BI Developer

Location: Staffordshire (Mostly Remote with Occasional On-Site Meetings)

Duration: 6-month Initial Contract (Potential Extension to 12 months)

Rate: 300/day

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Performance Analyst and Power BI Developer to spearhead the development and implementation of a suite of performance dashboards in Power BI. This role is pivotal in providing the senior leadership team with enhanced visibility into the organisation's performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dashboard Design and Production:

  • Design and develop compelling Power BI dashboards that can be automatically refreshed.
  • Collaborate with the Insight Team on the design and content of the dashboards.

• Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Liaise with stakeholders during the development phase to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with Insight Team colleagues to agree on key performance indicators.

• Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:

  • Document work effectively for future support and maintenance.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to existing Insight Team members to ensure team resilience in maintaining the dashboards.

• Training and Support:

  • Utilise experience in training staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in Power BI usage.

• Analytical Skills:

  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills with a background in a performance-related role.
  • Utilise APIs to access data efficiently in Power BI.

• Communication and Collaboration:

  • Present complex information effectively, adapting styles to suit specific audiences.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.

• Compliance and Legislation:

  • Ensure compliance with legislation and guidance related to data collection, management, handling, and sharing.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in a performance-related role with strong analytical skills.
• Expertise in designing and developing engaging Power BI dashboards.
• Proficient in using APIs to access data in Power BI.
• Previous experience in training staff to enhance their Power BI skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse and present complex information.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Knowledge of legislation and guidance related to data management and sharing.
