Job Description: The role of Passionate Educator / Workshop Facilitator at Plumb Learning CIC involves teaching hands-on skills to children aged 6 to 16 during the summer holidays. The facilitator will inspire small groups in Coventry, focusing on safe tool usage and creative problem-solving through trade skills and STEM challenges. This self-employed position requires a commitment of four days a week, five hours a day, with potential for extension for the right candidate. Ideal applicants will have experience working with young people with EHCPs and a passion for inclusive, hands-on learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate workshops for small groups of children aged 6 to 16.
- Teach safe usage of basic tools and encourage problem-solving and creativity.
- Conduct trade skills-based activities and STEM challenges.
- Represent the company reliably and enthusiastically.
Skills Required:
- Experience working with young people, particularly those with EHCPs.

As a workshop facilitator (HAF project) you will be responsible for inspiring small groups of children at our base in Coventry. You will teach them how to safely use basic tools and encourage them to problem solve and think creatively through a mixture of trade skills based activities and stem challenges. This is a self employed position 4 days per week, 5 hours per day throughout the summer holidays. This role may be extended for the right person. The successful candidate will be experienced working with young people with EHCPs, be able to think on their feet and be passionate about the benefits of hands on learning. We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic educators who love working with children and young people. Who are reliable and able to represent the company.
