The Role:

This is an entry level within the custody team based in Harrogate that will support the Custody function with operational administration.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the administration of account set-up and onboarding process for new clients and accounts, liaising with other departments to ensure a smooth onboarding and positive client experience
  • Maintain accurate client standing data through daily checks and monitoring the Operations team on a rota basis
  • Ensuring a smooth transition to the transfers team following onboarding.
  • Ensuring the administration of offboarding process for clients and accounts liaising with various departments to initiate the account closure process and managing this through to conclusion
  • Conducting quarterly valuation reviews and preparing notification of valuations for clients.
  • Assist with the smooth running of all aspects of the Contracts process, as and when required
  • Being the subject matter expert on Know Your Customer (KYC) and Due diligence (DD) processes and be able to train internal, and possible external staff, on these processes
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of company procedures and policies and completing compliance training in a timely manner
  • Any other duties in line with the level and scope of this role.


Skill and Experience Requirements

  • Must have gained GCSE Grade 4 or above in English and Maths and a Further Education qualification e.g. A-levels (or equivalent) in any subjects no minimum UCAS points required
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Inquisitive and a problem-solver with a keen eye for detail
  • Proven ability to work within a team and on your own.
  • Experience with Microsoft 360 advantageous.
  • Previous experience within the financial services sector is advantageous but not necessary.
