Network Engineer - Network Migration - CCNP - Cisco - Contract

My client, an international Travel organisation, are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join them on an intial 6 month contract.

The Network Engineer is responsible for the global network including WAN/LAN and all network devices like routers, switches, access points, firewalls, WAN optimizers.

This comprises monitoring of the usage and performance of this IT service(s), handling of continuous service improvement, training for employees involved in the IT service(s) usage, facilitating of necessary changes especially when related business processes change and reporting for this IT service(s).

Qualifications and Competencies

· Min. 5-7 years of experiences in IT Network Management

· Min 5-7 years of experiences in routing, switching, and firewall administration

· Valid CCNP certificate of similar

· ITIL foundation qualification

· Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills as well as communication and facilitation skills

· Ability to work and succeed in a dynamic and multi-cultural matrix organization

· Willingness to travel worldwide

· Fluent command of oral and written English as the corporate language; knowledge of German or any other language would be an advantage

· Strong positive, service-oriented attitude and strong team-working ability
