Multiple Network Engineers Required:


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network LAN/WAN infrastructure components.
  • Actively owns and takes responsibility for engineering issues and queries, including the most complex, ensuring that the answers provided are consistent with the overall strategy
  • Design and implement new network solutions or enhance the efficiency of existing networks.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems, providing Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting.
  • Install, configure, and provide support for network equipment like routers, switches, load balancers, and wireless devices.
  • Proficient understanding of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
  • Procure network equipment and oversee subcontractors involved in network installation.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance through continuous monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Report the status of the network to key stakeholders.
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
  • Operate within established configuration and change management protocols to ensure the successful implementation and awareness of network infrastructure changes.
  • Collaborate with vendors and IT personnel for prompt problem resolution.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with network equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with customers, stakeholders, vendors, and IT colleagues.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with change management practices and network security concepts.
