A globally recognised client of X4s are on the look out for a .NET Engineer to join their development team for an initial 12 month Inside IR35 contract.

We are looking for a Software Engineer with proven experience in adhering to software engineering best practices, delivery software products/ applications generating business value. They are expected to have continuous improvement mindset, driving value-based process, product/ application optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution consultation and development in accordance to the enterprise technology principles, methods, standards, and practices.


• Contribution to functional excellence in terms of definition and maintenance of standards, methods and tools, bringing in best practices from market standard implementations.


• Manage complex integration scenarios and interfaces between on-premise solutions, cloud and legacy systems.

Technical skills & experience required:

• 5 years of more relevant software development experience with a fairly ‘full stack’ profile


• Proficient in .NET Core (Web, API, Windows, Services)


• Exposure to Azure Platform Development


• Experience in Data Development (T-SQL)


• Experience developing applications based on microservices architecture


• Domain knowledge: experience within banking and/or trading environment is critical

Alongside the above experience of other programming languages/ frameworks is welcome, experience using CI/CD tools and exposure to No-SQL would be a real benefit.

This would be a hybrid role with the client expecting candidates to be able to work on site in Central London a few days a week.
