.Net Developer Inside IR35
Contract Term: 6 months
Contracting Authority: Pension Protection Fund
Location: Hybrid Croydon (2-3 days per week in office)
The PPF is continuing its digital journey using a cloud first approach. We re looking for a .NET Developer to work with a collaborative, inclusive and rewarding organisation.
The role requires a .NET Developer to play a role in all aspects of the delivery life cycle work with
other technology team members, gold partner suppliers and diverse stakeholders with great skill-sets.
We re looking for someone who is ready to take their career to a new level, use their existing skills and
broaden their experience in cloud technology.
As a .Net Developer, your main responsibilities will be:
- Transformation from a monolithic legacy application to a series of API s, Microservices and Micro Web Portals
- Developing solutions Microsoft .NET, C#, API/Microservices. Good experience of client-side programming, exposure to the use of DevOps (Azure DevOps) and implementing Unit testing.
- Develop and support changes and updates with a cloud-based CRM solution
- Training and knowledge sharing of development skills with others in the team.
- Using Agile practices i.e., Scrum and Kanban, to drive forward delivery
- Architectural steer SME level on API frameworks, best practices, modern ways of working.
- Wiki/Documentation for solutions/processes.
- Willingness to learn and upskill and collaborate with the team. Engage in knowledge sharing, show/tells, lunch and learns as well as consider new technologies to resolve complex problems.
You ll have relevant experience in:
- Demonstrable experience in .NET development full stack solutions, API, Microservice, Portal/Web development
- Azure in a serverless capacity
- Proficient in writing code in .NET core/.NET 6 using C#
- Proven skills in .NET, C#, API/Microservices, Web Programming, DevOps (Azure DevOps), Unit Test and Deployment Automation
- Analytical and communication skills with the ability to successfully engage with a business user
- Ability to work under pressure when required, to work well in a team as well as autonomously, and to prioritise effectively
- Problem-solving skills with a determination to seek out efficiencies and simplicities with systems / software
