IR35 Status: Inside IR35.

Location: Tuesday and Wednesday required in London every week.

You will be responsible for understanding and explaining best practices, designs and patterns and applying these through software engineering practices to deliver and support the expected requirements and tasks.

Your Tasks:

• Designing and developing an API specification, an API implementation, Integration Flows between various endpoints or a collection of Microservices.
• The use of defined API/Integration/Development Frameworks and different testing methodologies for functional and non-functional needs (Performance and Security Testing).

Required Skills:

• MuleSoft expert
• MuleSoft Development/Integration
• Java experience
• FpML - Financial products Markup Language experience
• Good knowledge and experience of automation and the setup of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) to local and predominately cloud-based environments is important. and supporting the testing of those deployments.
• Experience in the successful delivery of designs and artefacts for multi-tiered, modern software applications, including APIs, Integration and Microservices-based applications and services.
• Experience in using Enterprise Integration Patterns
• Experience in integrating with endpoint types such as SOAP, REST, SQL/No-SQL, SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and SaaS. Thus, knowledge and experience of the application of Enterprise Integration Patterns is paramount.
• Good experience with at least four of the following: Spring Framework, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Apache Camel, Node.js, API Specifications (Swagger/OpenAPI, RAML), API Managers (MuleSoft, Apigee, WSO2), Message Broker (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ), Docker, Container Orchestrators (Kubernetes, OpenShift), Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Compute), Functional Programming frameworks (Lambda, Serverless, Scala).
• Experience with the automation of software delivery processes, ie CI/CD, using Jenkins, TeamCity, Git, IaC, Configuration Management using technologies like Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker
