Job Description: The Mid-Weight Designer role involves joining a global charitable foundation's in-house creative team for a short-term project. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design print and digital assets (e.g. social media graphics, reports, infographics, presentations)
  • Collaborate with internal teams including communications, policy and programmes
  • Follow and develop creative work within our brand and accessibility guidelines
  • Respond constructively to feedback and adapt design work accordingly
  • Contribute ideas to creative briefs and planning discussions where appropriate

Skills Required:

  • 3–5 years of professional design experience
  • Strong portfolio across print and digital
  • Proven ability to design for accessibility (e.g. understanding of contrast, legibility, alt text, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma
  • Experience working collaboratively with non-design stakeholders
  • Awareness of and sensitivity to equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • Experience with motion design (e.g. After Effects or similar) - nice to have
  • Experience in editorial or publication design - nice to have
  • Familiarity with user-centered or co-design approaches - nice to have

Salary (Rate): £300.00 daily

The Role

We’re looking for a middleweight designer to join our in-house creative team on a short-term basis over the summer. You’ll work across a range of projects that may include campaigns, reports, editorial design, and digital content. This is a hands-on design role where you'll be contributing to work that supports our mission across health, equity, and the arts. We’re looking for someone who combines creative flair with attention to detail, and who is comfortable working within established brand guidelines while bringing fresh ideas to the table.
