- Proven ability to design for accessibility (e.g. understanding of contrast, legibility, alt text, etc.)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma
- Experience working collaboratively with non-design stakeholders
- Awareness of and sensitivity to equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Experience with motion design (e.g. After Effects or similar) - nice to have
- Experience in editorial or publication design - nice to have
