Key Responsibilities:
- Acting in a professional and proactive manner at all times
- Engaging with United Utilities (UU) personnel to gather and record accurate work requirements
- Assessing work scope and engaging relevant disciplines and partners
- Applying appropriate risk profiles and framework procedures to each task
- Collaborating closely with supply chain partners to align resources and work type
- Supporting delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate flow of information
- Coordinating with schedulers to programme works effectively
- Reviewing RAMS and ensuring compliance with SHEQ standards
- Validating that scope is appropriate, identifying risks and opportunities
- Driving efficiencies and proactively identifying process improvements
- Resolving blockers where possible and escalating unresolved issues
- Maintaining 100% compliance with SHEQ and CDM regulations
- Communicating effectively with all stakeholders
- Supporting team members to achieve shared objectives
Skills Required:
- Solid understanding of clean and wastewater treatment works and associated assets
- Confident communicator, including with senior engineers and stakeholders
- Strong engineering background with sound problem-solving skills
- Excellent prioritisation and organisational capabilities
- Knowledge of site-based delivery and buildability considerations
- Commercially and contractually aware
- Familiar with SHE documentation and CDM requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the water sector in a mechanical/electrical capacity (maintenance or capital delivery)
- Qualified to HNC/HND or degree level in a relevant engineering discipline
- Holder of SMSTS qualification
