p>Technician required to carry out mechanical maintenance and modification activities on passenger rail vehicles in the Liverpool area working in a recently renovated  depot with high tech equipment in a close knit team.

The Situation
Working for a large global organisation that provide state of the art rail solutions for countries around world. You will have the opportunity to become an integral part in the team and assist with repairs, modifications, and upgrades to the underframes of the trains.

This is a hands-on role and will require you to get involved in heavy repairs and maintenance on the underframes of the trains.

The Candidate

• Previous experience of completing mechanical upgrades and repairs to vehicles; including, trains, buses, HGV, marine or aviation
• Excellent understanding of mechanical diagrams
• Able to use a variety of tools and competent in using hand tools

Essential

• NVQ Level 3
• Previous experience of completing heavy duty repairs

Desirable

• Previous rail experience
