They have extensive experience working across all sectors and disciplines. Our client takes pride in nurturing their staff from graduate engineers through to chartership, and they have decades of in-house expertise in designing forward-thinking projects. Due to rapidly increasing client demand for their design services, an opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join their Eurocentral team.

Your new role

As a Mechanical Building Services Engineer, you are expected to have a track record in one or, preferably, multiple sectors that our client operates in. You will ideally be working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer with experience working on a variety of projects. You will be part of an enthusiastic and committed team of Engineers and Technicians to deliver high quality output on projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and specify all aspects of Mechanical Services engineering in accordance with current guidelines, standards, regulations and project deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development and mentoring of their junior engineers and the continuous improvement of departmental capabilities.
  • Champion quality and compliance controls within local teams and projects.
  • Be able to achieve and maintain security clearance for the role as required by their clients and sectors.

What you'll need to succeed

Extensive experience in Mechanical systems design for Building Services projects. Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent. Working towards chartership. Good knowledge of CIBSE standards, UK standards, etc. Working knowledge of industry standard design software including AutoCAD, Hevacomp, IESVE, etc. Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment. Strong communication skills.
