Due to an increase of workload they re looking for someone to join the team on a temporary basis for the next 6 months starting mid Feb. Within This Role You ll Be
- Leading the implementation of strategic plans to enhance the charity s brand.
- Direct the Marcomms team in expanding brand recognition regionally and nationally/internationally.
- Utilise owned, earned, and paid platforms for marketing and communications objectives, covering websites, social media, media relations, and advertising.
- Leading external campaigns for the business focusing on awareness and initiatives such as fundraising and major events.
- Coordinate internal communication programs and manage media relations proactively and reactively.
- Maintain a strong online brand presence for the business, overseeing website development as well as databases, social media, and marketing collateral.
- Ensure brand objectives are progressed by utilising social media, as well as radio, out-of-home and digital advertising.
- Uphold brand guardianship, ensuring the team advocates and protects the brand, effectively communicating the brand story to stakeholders.
- Ensuring operational compliance with relevant codes of conduct, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in a marketing communications role either agency or in-house.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge to deliver a broad range of marcoms activities; campaigning, media relations, websites, publications, social media, events, etc.
- Line managment experience
- Proven and demonstrable experience in working with a wide range of media, preparing press releases etc
- Experience in internal communications and crisis communications is desirable.
