- Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for campaign and product positioning.
- Support the execution and management of social media communications, including scheduling posts and monitoring engagement.
- Collaborate with the Content Creator to develop ideas for blogs, videos, emails, and sales enablement assets.
- Manage the team’s day-to-day activity, including maintaining campaign plans and updating performance dashboards.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in a B2B marketing role.

Position Overview The UK Marketing Manager helps to lead the planning, execution, and day-to-day management of marketing campaigns and activities to help maintain Smoothwall’s premium brand position and to grow market share in the UK education sector. This role is ideal for a proactive, creative marketer who thrives on building integrated campaigns, managing events, and driving engagement through well-executed marketing initiatives. Working closely with the UK Marketing Director, and with plenty of opportunity for collaboration with your global marketing colleagues around the world, you’ll be a key player in shaping and delivering our UK go-to-market strategy. This is a maternity cover role with the possibility of permanent employment subject to performance and market conditions.
Key Responsibilities Campaign Development and Management You’ll collaborate with the Marketing Director on end-to-end campaign planning and lead on execution across digital, email, and events. From concept to analysis, you’ll ensure each campaign is optimised to generate high-quality MQLs that contribute to monthly ARR targets. Event Management You’ll oversee the planning and delivery of both virtual and in-person events, including national exhibitions, webinars and customer conferences. You’ll manage the logistics, communications, and follow-up to ensure a seamless experience that drives pipeline and brand awareness. Market and Competitor Research You’ll regularly monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to help identify opportunities and inform campaign and product positioning strategies. Social Media Co-ordination You will support the day-to-day execution and management of social media communications, including scheduling and uploading posts, monitoring engagement, and generating reports for the team. Content Support and Idea Generation You’ll collaborate with our Content Creator to develop ideas for blogs, videos, emails, and sales enablement assets. You’ll help ensure our messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligned to audience needs across key touchpoints. Marketing Operations You’ll help manage the team’s day-to-day activity, including maintaining campaign plans, updating performance dashboards, and supporting with CRM and marketing automation tools such as HubSpot.
Requirements Essential Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification (eg.
