Morson are looking for a number of Manufacturing Engineers for our client based in Luton. If you are interested, all the details are below.

The Manufacturing Engineer will be based at our Luton site supporting both our Defence and Civil business lines whilst reporting to the Chief Manufacturing Engineer, occasional national and international travel to visit suppliers will be required. The position is a 15 month fixed-term contract and the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing new and existing manufacturing processes whilst supporting the day-to-day operations team at Luton. 

Standard hours required:

• 7.30-4.30 Mon-Thurs

Rate: 30.00 PAYE

Security Clearance: BPSS (Baseline Clearance)

Experience needed:

• Develop, document and optimise new and existing manufacturing processes 
• Create and update engineering documentation to maintain configuration control and help manage point of introduction activities, first article inspection and customer approval
• Provide MRB (Material Review Board) support to existing programs to ensure any process deviation or product faults are reviewed and answered
• Lead and support structured problem solving projects linked to both project deliverables and day-to-day manufacturing issues
  
• Provide day-to-day support to manufacturing operations
