The candidate will be responsible for preparing management accounts for various companies across the Group on different finance systems. They will also play a part in standardising processes as they migrate all businesses on to one finance system.
THIS IS A 12 MONTH CONTRACT - Hybrid working available
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Provide general support to Finance Manager
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Variance analysis
- Calculation of depreciation, prepayments, accruals and other provisions
- Calculation of Corporation Tax QIPs
- Payroll reconciliations
- Cash flow forecasts
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Assist with migration of brands to the finance system
- Preparation of month-end reports required for senior management
- Ad-hoc reporting as required by management and other functions within the group
- Daily banking tasks
- Provide guidance and mentoring to the team
- Ad-hoc tasks as required
The Candidate:
You will be a Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years accounting experience in a similar role. Ideally you will have experience working with ERP systems and have knowledge of the payroll process. You will be a strong communicator who can work to strict deadlines. You will also have attention to detail, accuracy, and effective time management skills.
