Job Description: The Management Accountant position at a not-for-profit organization in Salisbury offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic finance team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing the wider finance function activities, mapping and documenting processes, and setting new accounting controls.
- Providing meaningful insights and recommendations based on analysis of key financial information to support business decision-making.
- Conducting detailed analysis of the organization's procurement processes and recommending upgraded processes.
- Managing stakeholders and presenting at senior management meetings.
- Working closely with and supporting the Senior Management Accountant and Finance Director.
Skills Required:
- A qualified Accountant is ideal, although part qualified can also be considered.
- Confident skillset in systems and process change and development.
- Strong system skills including advanced Excel proficiency.
- Not-for-profit sector background is advantageous, although not essential.

You will be an existing Management Accountant who has a detailed knowledge of processes and systems and how to make effective change to processes and accounting controls. What will the Management Accountant role involve?

- Meaningful insight and recommendations based on analysis of key financial information to support business decision making;
- Detailed analysis of the organisations procurement processes and recommending upgraded processes;
- Stakeholder management and presenting at senior management meetings;
- Working closely with and supporting the Senior Management Accountant and Finance Director.
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
- A qualified Accountant is the ideal, although part qualified can also be considered;
- Confident skillset in systems and process change and development;
- Strong system skills including Excel to an advanced level is highly beneficial;
- Not for profit sector background is advantageous although not essential.
