Interim Management Accountant
Edinburgh (Hybrid working)
6-months minimum assignment
£200 - £250 per day
Our client, a leader its specialised field, is looking to source a Inventory Accountant to join its talented team on an initial interim basis. This a pivotal role for the business, providing financial accounting and control support for various production sites and inventory.
The successful candidate will come from a manufacturing/product industry and be well versed in stock and inventory complex accounting matters. You will ideally have gleaned this in a Retail/FMCG environment and have examples to date where you have built cross-functional relationships.
Main duties include:
* Responsible for partner sales invoicing and sales to group companies
* Maintenance of accurate stock records, standard costings and completion of monthly routines and stock reconciliations
* Responsible for review of trade receivables balances and liaising with stakeholders to ensure payments are within terms
* Coordinating and aligning all stakeholders in the sales process: partner, country team, franchise teams, finance and supply chain and support development of customer service levels
* Liaise with the group's supply chain and affiliates with regard to any stock variances
* Manage and develop the stock transactional team in all operational requirements
* Develop and enhance stock procedures and control environment
* Liaise with external and internal audit over stock queries
The successful candidate will be part qualified ACCA/CIMA with experience of computerised inventory and sales order processing. You will have knowledge of manufacturing costing methods. You must have strong communication skills and excellent IT skills and abilities.
