The Company Overview:
Butler Rose is partnered with a with a well-known Not For Profit Housing Association in Burnley who support the community by providing affordable housing, in their search for a management accountant on a 6 month contract (likely to go permanent).
Your new role as Management Accountant:
Reporting into an experienced Finance manager you will joining a great and supportive team who value their employees. The Finance Team provide key support and advice to all operational and business areas within the Group. They achieve this by providing effective and efficient business partnering, leading on the delivery of timely and accurate financial management information that is used to make informed decisions to meet the needs of the organisation.
Key duties as management Accountant will include:
Preparation of month end management accounts to strict deadlines
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Work closely with the Operations team and improve understanding of financial decisions
Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow forecasts
Fixed Assets and Capital purchases
Support on compliance against all regulatory and legislative requirements
Building relationships with internal and external auditors
Support the Finance Manager in delivery of long-term projects.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:
Part qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Extensive systems experience with High level of Microsoft Excel skills
Attention to detail and strong organisation skills
