Job Description

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced qualified Management Accountant to work for a well established business based not too far from Leatherhead, Surrey. The Management Accountant will be working on a temporary basis initially for 3-4 months and will produce the management accounts and information as well as finance business partnering and provide commentary on accurate analysis of data.

Duration: Temp, start ASAP - 3-4 months

Pay rate: 200-225 per day + holiday pay

Location: Hybrid working, 2-3 days office based

Management Accountant duties:

• Preparation and completion of the monthly management accounts


• Review accounts and income streams


• Finance Business Partnering with Managers and Stakeholders to ensure budgets are achieved


• Attend regular budget meetings


• Review, analyse and provide insight on financial performance


• Post journals


• Balance sheet reconciliations


• Preparation of budgets and forecasts


• Preparation of year-end

Skills and experience:

• Proven Management Accounting experience working in a similar Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner role


• Fully qualified Accountant


• Excellent communication skills


• Great MS Excel skills and ideally have used systems such as; SAP, NetSuite or Power BI


• Experience of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
