Job Title: Linux/Windows Server Build Engineer - Sunderland
Location: Sunderland - 5 days per week on site
Salary/Rate: Up to 430 per day INSIDE IR35

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our leading software clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Linux/Windows Server Build Engineer to join their team for a six-month contract.
Role Description
- Apply the latest data analysis tools and processes to deliver use cases to internal customers and realise Cost, Quality and Delivery improvements
- Support the Data Engineering team to define data sources from the manufacturing process to meet the needs of the customer
- Support a wide range of data visualizations, reports, and dashboards, defining the outcome for the customers
- Support R&D, implement the latest tools, IOT, systems and processes across the plant
Required Skills
- Build/Configure/Troubleshooting (Linux / Windows Server)
- Understanding of network technologies in EUC and Industrial environment
- IT System performance management / monitoring
- Understanding / configuring proxy servers and load balancers
- Creating / modifying firewall ACL's to allow data to flow
- Securing devices (DMZ, hardening, patching, securing)
- User security management
- Writing code in latest languages (Python / Powershell / Javascript)
- Configuring PKI Components (Certificates etc) requesting / adding / troubleshooting
- Writing / Troubleshooting NiFi flows
- SQL Advanced skills (writing queries / views / stored procedures, designing databases / tables, indexing, CRUD, complex transformation, XML querying, JSON Querying)
- Writing transformations (XSLT / JOLT)
- Detailed knowledge of Industrial components (Modbus, BACNET, S7, OPC-DA, OPC-UA, FINS etc)
- Using OPC server to interrogate industrial devices
- Setting up and interacting with webservices
- Docker / Docker-compose
- Querying and creating views in Snowflake
- Ability to create visualizations with Tableau / Grafana
- Generate / consume data from MQTT / AMQP
- Verifying what has been collected digitally matches the actual state of the end device
- Reverse engineering other person / OEM code
