Job Description: The Senior Linux Infrastructure Specialist role is a contract position focused on supporting system and application migrations within a higher education environment. Our higher education client now has an opportunity for a talented Linux focused Infrastructure professional to join them on a contract basis. This is a great role for someone experienced in working with research or academic teams. The Linux Infrastructure Specialist will be supporting migrations of systems and applications, and will be experienced in Linux, Red Hat and Bash Scripting. They will be working closely with academics and will be used to a fast-paced environment.

Skills Required:

  • Linux Infrastructure experience
  • System Migrations
  • Red Hat
  • Bash Scripting
  • Unix (desirable)
  • Experience in higher education environments
  • Great communication skills

Rate: £500 per day Inside IR35

Duration: 3 months initially

Location: Central London (3/4 days per week on site)
