The Role And Why It Matters

In recent years Vonage has embarked on an ambitious and exciting growth strategy which has led to a significant transformation of the business. Most recently, it led to the acquisition by global Telco powerhouse Ericsson.

Vonage Legal is expanding its Legal Operations team and is looking to hire a full-time Legal Operations Analyst. You will play a critical role in supporting the legal team by optimizing procedures, implementing technology solutions, and driving continuous operational improvements. You will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, ensuring smooth operations and empowering the team to focus on legal matters.

This role will report to the Senior Legal Operations Manager, Commercial Legal Affairs, and be a part of the Legal Operations team within the Legal Department.

Legal And Business Experience

You will have experience and possess proven ability in:

  • Vendor Management:
    • Negotiation strategies to optimize vendor contracts and reduce costs.
    • Champion compliance review for existing and new Legal service providers.
  • Technology Adoption:
    • Supported CLM/Matter Management/Analytics system integrations, by providing ongoing support, reporting, and user training
    • Supported facilitation of the transition to the CLM workflow tool by collaborating with business departments, mapping workflow specifications, managing project implementation, and supporting overall adaptation.
  • Policy and Compliance:
    • Coordinated and maintained updates to existing company policies and contract templates.
    • Ensure adherence to internal compliance policies and procedures.
  • Talent Development and Professional Enrichment:
    • Supported smooth onboarding of new hires, ensuring familiarity with company policies and procedures.
    • Managed legal profession enrichment programs through partnerships with organizations such as Thomson Reuters, PLI, Evisort, and ACC.
    • Created training content for new processes and extended Legal department presence in Corporate knowledge platforms such as Thrive and Confluence.

What s Required For Application

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or an equivalent professional experience, with 3+ years of experience in a legal or operational support role, preferably within a SaaS based technology company.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and technology solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in legal technology platforms and applications, including SimpleLegal and Evisort, Salesforce is a preference.
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to a dynamic and collaborative legal team.
  • Strong transactional and management skills, a high level of integrity and commitment to the highest ethical standards
