Are you an experienced and dedicated professional looking for a challenging role in the field of Legal Repairs? Islington Council is recruiting a Legal Disrepair Surveyor to join their dynamic team and contribute to our commitment to providing excellent housing and social services.

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Legal Disrepair Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing a diverse case load, including live disrepair claims, party wall awards, repair diagnostic cases, and referrals from repairs teams. Your role will extend to providing training, acting in an advisory capacity for colleagues in the Technical Quality team, and occasionally offering expert evidence in court.

Requirements:

• Experience managing legal disrepair cases
• Ideally have a surveying qualification (not essential)
• Good understanding of damp and structural issues
• Social housing experience (not essential)
• Full UK licence

• Largely office based
• Access to pool cars

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Ongoing

Rate: 41.76 per hour (UMB)
