Job Summary:

We are seeking a versatile and skilled Lead Automation/Manual Tester who can effectively perform both manual and automated testing tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, the ability to create test plans, and execute test cases manually. Additionally, they should be proficient in developing and maintaining automated test scripts. This role requires adaptability to handle various testing scenarios, from manual exploratory testing to automated regression testing.

Key Responsibilities:

MUST:

  1. Software Testing Expertise: Possess a comprehensive understanding of different Software Testing types.
  2. Quality Planning: Develop quality plans and testing strategies to ensure thorough testing.
  3. Windows Components: Have knowledge of Windows components.
  4. Agile Scrum: Work effectively in an Agile Scrum environment.
  5. Windows Applications: Proficiently test Windows-based applications.
  6. Time Management: Manage multiple priorities efficiently and meet deadlines.

Automation Responsibilities:

MUST:

  1. Test Automation Strategy: Evaluate functional requirements for testability and create automated test cases.
  2. Maximize Reusability: Develop and implement an automation strategy with a focus on maximizing script reusability for regression testing.
  3. Automated Testing: Design, build, and execute automated tests, particularly for data-centric applications.
  4. Regression Suite: Identify regression testing needs and create/maintain an Automated Regression Suite.
  5. Reporting: Provide detailed test execution reports.
  6. Script Maintenance: Maintain automated scripts within the existing framework, adhering to coding standards.
  7. Tool Evaluation: Suggest and explore alternate automation tools to enhance productivity and test coverage.

GOOD TO HAVE:

  1. Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of Identity Access Management within the healthcare domain.
  2. Smartcard Systems: Understanding of Smartcard systems.
  3. Reporting: Ability to produce quality assurance reports.
  4. Mentoring: Guide other testers within the team and across teams in testing practices.
  5. Tool Utilization: Customize and use industry-standard tools for assurance activities.

Tool, Technology, and Language Knowledge:

  • Jira, Confluence, Git, Splunk, Jenkins, LDAP, PostMan, Linux, Postgres (DB), Selenium, Python, Java, AutoIt.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in testing (eg, ISTQB) or automation tools (eg, Selenium) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in both manual and automated testing roles.
