Location: Portsmouth (2-3 days onsite per week)

Duration: Initially 9 Months contract

Rate: Negotiable depending on level of experience

Overview:

P&TS has a diverse portfolio of defence projects, and the project control rolls can span across projects or be focused on a single large project. Project types range from new development work to long term support contracts for in-service equipment.

Key Deliverables:

Responsible for maintaining Microsoft project schedule

Seeking prohress updates from work package owners

Ensuring integrity of schedule is maintained

Feeding those schedule updates into headcount and financing forecasting

Responsible for assisting PM in analysis of project data

Support PM in generation of regular reporting packs

Key Skills / Experience:

• Experienced in a formal project scheduling toolset, familiar with core PM techniques e.g. earned value management, or schedule risk analysis
• Desirable skills: SAP, Cobra, Microsoft Project Server#
• Personal attributes: Somebody who is going to be approachable and able to coach other members of the team. Can share their experience.
