Lead Product Manager

Contract - Inside IR35

700 - 800 per day

12 months

Wiltshire - 2/3 days a week

Are you someone with a background in Product Management, at a senior level, with experience of leading others?

My major client is looking for someone to join on a 12 month basis, with the view to lead in a key Product Management team for the business.

About The Role

Reporting to the Connectivity Product Director, you will:

  • Lead a team of Product Managers to deliver exceptional customer experiences across the app in question
  • Drive business objectives and deliver against ambitious key performance indicators
  • Manage, prioritise and champion the digital road-map, outlining the benefits and business case for key features and taking input from multiple sources and stakeholders
  • Guide a team of Product Managers in building aligned feature backlogs that will deliver against a growing digital road-map including purchasing, personalisation, support, on-boarding, communications, structure and integrations
  • Collaborate with business unit Product Managers to champion and deliver a roll-out plan for common features that benefit users of different products
  • Drive upstream research and investigation to inform future improvements to the customer experience
  • Champion Lean & Agile practices, supporting teams as we continually look to improve ways of working

About you

  • An experienced Lead Product Manager with a track record of managing product teams to deliver results on a consumer facing platform
  • Customer-centric drive, a curious mind-set, with a focus on the use of high-quality data & insight to fuel decision making
  • The energy and determination to work cross-functionally, at pace, across diverse global teams to cultivate productive, mutually beneficial working relationships
  • Knowledge of multiple project management methodologies. (Agile, Waterfall & Hybrid) backed up by experience of applying them successfully in practice
  • A positive and impactful communicator, with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Powerful change agent who champions change and inspires trust and change adoption
  • Solid matrix management skills with the proven ability to deliver through others
  • Extensive stakeholder engagement and management skills
