Lead Analyst (Finance) – Oracle Implementation - £825 p/day – 12 months

Harvey Nash are currently supporting a global Tier 1 Banking organisation with their need for an experienced Lead Analyst to assist with the design of the operating model, E2E processes, controls and reports for a group-wide Oracle implementation.

The new platform provides enhanced technical capability and supports the banks Finance Transformation strategy and realisation of their Target Operating Model.

  • £825 p/day (Umbrella)
  • 12 months (Projected project duration)
  • Canary Wharf (3 days onsite/ 2 days remote)

The Role:

  • Owning design of the operating model, process, controls and reports.
  • Work with existing platforms and teams to identify key use cases and user stories for integration into defining the Strategic Ledger processes for the Oracle platform and advise on the roadmap to decommission legacy platforms, capabilities, and legacy processes.
  • Identify, develop and implement new finance processes and drive harmonisation with Oracle Cloud.
  • Support the process to ensure that current and future business requirements are comprehensively mapped.
  • Ensure that any proposed solutions fit for the needs of the finance function in terms of quality, functionality and overall integrity.
  • Provide consultancy on clear expectations and acceptance criteria of the system, processes and solutions.

Required Experience:

  • Prior experience with implementation of complex global group close and substantiation and reconciliation solutions
  • Significant experience in process re-engineering / improvement design and implementation of finance solutions using commercial Cloud technologies
  • Understanding of accounting concepts related to US GAAP and IFRS standards, balance sheet substantiation, ledger, and close processes
  • Experience with SaaS enabled ERP transformations (Oracle, SAP)
