Are you a dedicated Adult Social Worker seeking a fulfilling role? Lancashire County Council invites applications from passionate individuals to join our Assessment Team.
Position: Adult Social Worker - Assessment Team
Location: Lancashire County Council, Central OPPD (Office base at Skelmersdale minimum of two days per week)
Salary: Up to 37.70 per hour (Depending on experience)
Full-Time Positions: Social Workers required to work on Central OPPD
Key Responsibilities
Conducting Care Act assessments
Completing CHC DSTs (Continuing Healthcare Decision Support Tools)
Carrying out mental capacity assessments
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support
Requirements
Social Work qualification and relevant professional registration
Experience in conducting Care Act assessments, CHC DSTs, and mental capacity assessments
Strong analytical and assessment skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work full-time and be office-based in Skelmersdale for a minimum of two days per week
