Our client seeks a highly motivated and experienced IT Network Support Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for supporting all digital services across the Trust and ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the expert 3rd party supplier to deliver high-quality network support services and deploy approved changes
- Provide senior network support and supervision to other members of the network team/contractors
- Participate in projects and/or lead assigned work packages as required, proposing any IT network changes in accordance with the Trust Change Approval process
- Support the ITM in performing network reviews, feed into development plans, and assist with business case preparation
- Ensure network incidents are effectively and efficiently addressed within the scope of the role, escalating as necessary to the ITM for direction, guidance, and problem management
- Collect and analyze diagnostic information, provide data for expert problem analysis, and provide reports, recommendations, and risk assessments to the ITM as required

Requirements:
- Strong technical skills including understanding and producing technical network diagrams, a high-level understanding of the role of all network devices in a corporate network, and following complex procedures accurately for device configuration
- 3+ years of experience in network support or a related field
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs
- Experience with network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Flexibility, working at weekends, and evening work as required
- A UK drivers license with access to a vehicle and business car insurance
