IT Commercial and Contracts Officer required for a leading client based in Merseyside. You will be reporting into the corporate contract lead and be responsible for managing renewals of small to medium sized contracts within budget and providing governance to support project directors and other internal stakeholders. These contracts are already in place so our client is requiring a resource to support with the renewals, updating and completing documentation, update service catalogue, process PO's and challenge cost increases.

Key Skills,

• IT Commercial and Contracts renewal, process and administration experience
• Contracts negotiation experience (within Service and Infrastructure)
• Process Driven
• Ability to challenge cost increases
• Updating service catalogue
• Escalation as appropriate to the Category Manager
• Renegotiating new and existing licences
• A good understanding of Hardware, Software and Cloud service contracts
• Proactively monitor and mitigates risks associated with their contract portfolio
• Required to re-negotiate with current vendors and suppliers.
• Evaluate vendors to ensure the right vendor is appointed at conclusion (could be multi-vendor)
• Leading the negotiations of commercial proposals for contract renewals in line with agreed budgets
• Leading the negotiations of commercial proposals for new supplier contracts, influencing where required to ensure they reflect the set standards to drive quality and value
• Retail experience - highly desirable
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
