p>Methods is currently looking for an experience agile BA for a 12 months contract in London.
Daily rate: 500 to 550 inside IR35
Duration: 12 months
Location: 2 days/w in London office
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Strong organiser:
- Ability to balance competing tasks and demands effectively, such as ensuring that all analysis and requirements elicitation across multiple Journey Maps/User journeys, Areas, SMEs and workstreams are performed and an effective and timely manner to enable Agile artefacts and services to be built with a consistent quality and to optimise the flow of deliverables
- Ability to Plan and manage own time and resources to effectively support the development pipeline, procurement process, data migration and other Product deliverables and objectives, such that all deliverables are achieved within timescales and costs.
- An excellent stakeholder manager:
- with an engaging and nurturing ability in being available to multiple teams, Product Owners and other Business and Technical stakeholders in order to answer questions and provide prioritisation of demands, ensuring that responses are given efficiently so as not to hold up delivery of Agile artefacts or development progress.
- capable at actively listening to, negotiating with and managing conflicts, in order to determine scope and prioritisation for teams, workstream activities, and to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and other technical roles to identify problems, determine solutions, and efficiently manage delivery of an integrated product, operational model or implement a data migration strategy (as applicable) across multiple development teams and technologies
- Business Analyst experience of at least 3 years on projects of a multi-million pounds complex government projects.
- Technical experience as a Business Analyst:
- Experience of working with development teams using Agile systems such as Azure technologies (to manage, requirements, test plans and scripts and other Agile artefacts); Digital Whiteboards, eg Mural and Miro; other requirements management tools and software
- Experience in complex Back Office systems
- Excellent Requirements Engineering skills, including
- Eliciting, analysing, validating and documenting requirements through a range of appropriate techniques.
- Applying Agile Principles
- Managing and tracking ongoing changes to requirements, using agreed change control processes where required
- Ensuring traceability from high level requirements through to backlog items and other Agile artefacts for implementation
- Excellent analytical skills, eg
- Analysing processes for data migration, using a variety of techniques and tools such as gap analysis, data mapping, Datamodelling techniques and data migration tools.
- Analysing existing data sets to determine structure and purpose of data, in order to identify data gaps, data improvements
- Excellent modelling skills to drive out business rules, aid collaboration and understanding including but not limited to;
- Process flow diagrams
- Use case diagrams
- Experience of User Acceptance Testing and validation of outputs including generation of Test scripts, testing and recording defects, and prioritisation, tracking and re-testing of defects to inform go-live decisions
DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Strong experience of backlog development and gathering feedback on the product in an agile environment, including gathering requirements from stakeholders and developing these into effective user stories, demonstrating delivered functionality and gathering feedback from stakeholders, and ensuring this feedback is incorporated into the product by developing the backlog further.
- Technical experience as a Business Analyst:
- PCI compliant payment solutions; and SFIA competency-based resources would be desirable
- Experience developing IT Service solutions in accordance with the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Framework.
- Experience developing Event Management solutions, understanding how the identification of applicable events in an IT solution can be correlated and filtered to indicate a particular trait/symptom being experienced.
- Experience of working with a CRM solution such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 core functions (including but not limited to: - case management, workflow, correspondence, and RBAC etc) is desirable
- Knowledge of the concepts employed in customer-facing website design eg Azure and React and/or native app development (but not essential).
- Knowledge and understanding of technologies for data storage eg types of databases, data warehouses, entity relationship diagrams
- Experience in the use of state transition diagrams and sequence diagrams to visualize the interactive behaviour of the system including describing message flows in the system, the structural organization of the objects and the interaction among objects.
