Cedar is currently partnered with a global, NASDAQ listed, natural resources Business to secure an Interim Senior Finance Manager based in Central London. The role is a 6-month initial contract, paying a day rate between 400-500 per day.

The Role

As Interim Senior Finance Manager, you will:

• Spearhead the creation and execution of extensive accounting manuals and procedures, prioritizing clarity and simplicity to ensure seamless implementation while aligning with international standards and compliance requirements.
• Project manage smaller accounting initiatives, assigned by the Head of Finance, by presenting well-structured cases and delivering effective solutions to stakeholders.
• Provide dedicated support during year-end processes, with a specific focus on comprehending and implementing Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
• Actively engage in hands-on support for financial analysis and reporting, ensuring the precision and completeness of financial information.
• Champion process enhancements within the accounting framework to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the Group Financial Controller to support management account reporting at the head office.

Your Profile

You will have:

Qualifications:

• Possession of a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is mandatory.

Experience:

• Demonstrated track record in a Senior Finance Manager or equivalent role, with a preference for experience in the natural resources industry.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
• Proven history of effectively managing smaller projects and offering viable solutions to intricate financial challenges.

Behavioural Skills:

• Proven ability to lead initiatives to successful completion.
• Capability to thrive under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating collaboration across diverse cultures and time zones.
