Responsibilities of an Interim Logistics Consultant
Develop and implement strategies to streamline logistics processes, reduce costs and enhance overall efficiency.
Evaluate and optimise relationships with key vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and cost effectiveness
Implement best practices for inventory control, demand forecasting and stock replenishment.
Explore and recommend cutting-edge logistics tecjnologies and systems to enhance operations
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions
Skills Required for Interim Logistics Consultant
The postholder must have relevant experience of working in a similar position and have a proven, successful track from a startup environment.
Have in-depth knowledge of logistics trends, technologies and best practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to various stakeholders
Have a track record of achieving results and driving continuous improvement in logistics operations
