Castlefield Recruitment are currently working exclusively with a fantastic Public sector organisation in South Yorkshire to recruit an IT Category Manager
This organisation operates a hybrid working policy, offering fully remote working.
This position would suit an individual with Public Sector procurement experience, basic ICT category knowledge and great stakeholder management skills.
Role:
- Work under the ICT category
- Lead on tendering exercises, ensuring full public contract compliance
- Utilise frameworks for direct awards and mini competitions
- Liaise with stakeholders on a regular basis
- Proactively develop and maintain specialist category knowledge and have an awareness of constantly changing markets
Person:
- Ideal for individuals with Public sector backgrounds
- A basic understanding of the ICT category is beneficial
- Best suited to candidates with a track record of strong stakeholder management
- Extensive experience navigating public sector frameworks, compiling contracts, running procurement processes
- Ability to work on own initiative
