Job Description: The Interim FP&A Manager role is focused on supporting a private equity-backed SaaS company during its exit preparation phase. This position involves strategic financial modeling, performance analysis, and collaboration with the CFO to ensure the business presents compelling financial narratives to potential acquirers and investors. The role is expected to last for six months with a possibility of extension. The candidate will be integral in refining financial processes and providing insights into key business metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and enhance the financial model underpinning the equity story
  • Deliver clear, investor-grade analysis of business performance and key value drivers
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning aligned with transaction timelines
  • Prepare and refine board packs, KPI dashboards, and investor presentations
  • Partner with the CFO and advisors during due diligence and Q&A processes
  • Provide commercial insight on pricing, retention, and LTV/CAC metrics
  • Build scalable FP&A processes to support a clean handover post-transaction

Skills Required:

  • ACA qualified (Big 4 trained preferred), with strong FP&A and commercial finance experience
  • Proven involvement in exit prep, due diligence, or transaction environments (trade or PE sale)
  • Deep understanding of SaaS or subscription-based business metrics
  • Strong financial modelling, data storytelling, and business partnering skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced, investor-backed business, ideally tech or software
  • Immediately available or available on short notice

This role will be central to building a compelling financial narrative, preparing robust performance analysis, and supporting investor and due diligence demands.

The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Interim FP&A Manager will play a strategic and hands-on role in exit readiness. You will refine financial models, support investor materials, and ensure the business is presenting accurate, investor-grade data to advisors, potential acquirers, and the board.
