Job Description: This interim Building Surveyor role involves leading complex construction projects from inception to completion, requiring expertise in managing project lifecycles across various asset types. The position demands proficiency in acting as Project Manager and Contract Administrator while overseeing multiple concurrent projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory submissions and client relationship management. Chartered or experienced professionals are preferred for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Running multiple concurrent projects across various stages (RIBA 0–7)
- Managing consultants and contractors, producing tender packs, contract docs, and specs
- Acting as Principal Designer and leading on regulatory submissions (planning/building control)
- Overseeing risk, cost, and quality while building strong client relationships
Skills Required:
- Chartered or experienced Building Surveyor (MRICS or MCIOB preferred)
- Deep understanding of CDM Regs, Building Regs, and JCT contracts
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- AutoCAD and NBS proficient
Salary (Rate): £50.00/hr
