Our client is a large organisation with an excellent reputation for promoting from within and developing its staff. They are currently in the market for a Senior Accountant to join one of their businesses and support wider business.

Your new role

As a Senior Accountant, you will be tasked with the production of accounts and delivery across the business. Our client is looking for an ambitious accountant whose job responsibilities will be the following:

Produce monthly and annual financial and management reports
Produce annual budgets
Ensure compliance with HMRC VAT and construction industry specific tax legislation, and other statutory requirements
Liaising and working with senior management to support their understanding of the figures and support the decision-making process.
Ad hoc project work

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally, the successful candidate will have some post-qualification experience. They will be able to take responsibility for tasks and complete these. You will also have a good experience of delivering accounts to corporate deadlines.
