Chesterfield/Hybrid WFH

Our client a successful international owner managed manufacturer of c 20m group needs an interim to cover sick leave. Joining a team of 6 this is a good all-round role supporting the FD and Finance team leader.

• Payroll/pension balance sheet reconciliations.
• VAT returns.
• Looking at the VAT process (and simplifying the spreadsheets).
• Supplier reconciliations for year-end audit ( also simplifying the excel spreadsheets that have been set up).
• Process documents for VAT and supplier reconciliations.
• Balance sheet recs for other payroll deductions eg cycle scheme, court orders etc.
• Help on running the payroll/checking figures.
• Audit reconciliations as requested by auditors eg payroll.
• Getting the accounts up to date (again can the process be simplified and speeded up).
• Potential set up so that we can automate from payroll system journals etc.
• Ad-hoc operational help.
