HR Project Manager (Inside IR35)

Contract Term: 12 Months

Contracting Authority: Network Rail

Location: Hybrid - Milton Keynes 2/3 days per week

As a HR Project Manager your main responsibilities will be:

  • To provide Human Resources (HR) and change management support to major business projects. 
  • To provide advice and support to the business throughout all stages of major business projects
  • Develop appropriate change management tools, techniques, methodologies etc appropriate to the needs of the business.
  • Train and develop relevant managers in project and change management methodologies and techniques.
  • Develop a partnership with the business sponsor of the project and participate in the project team.
  • Define and be responsible for the delivery of the business change plans for projects undertaken.
  • Develop effective networks within the business to identify projects and promote involvement at project feasibility stage.
  • Act as advisor to the project team, providing HR subject matter expertise.
  • Deliver and manage HR projects in line with the People Strategy and compliant with HR policies and procedures

 

Essential:

  • Successful project and / or change management experience within an HR environment
  • Demonstrable knowledge of project and programme management methodologies
  • Knowledge of Recruitment / Resourcing and ATS
  • Relationship building
  • Data Analysis and reporting
  • Expert knowledge in one (or more) of the following HR disciplines:
    • People Management,
    • Talent Management,
    • Recruitment & Resourcing,
    • Redeployment,
    • HR Systems
    • Technology implementations
  • Knowledge of relevant HR legislation related to one of the above specialist disciplines
  • Experience of managing cross functional teams in a client-focused environment with evidence of enabling the team to meet challenging deadlines
  • Proven influencing, negotiation, and relationship building/partnering skills (with both internal customers and external suppliers)
  • Proven commercial and business management skills with good data analysis and reporting skills

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in developing and influencing HR strategy
  • People management experience
  • CIPD qualified
