Aspire People are currently recruiting for a HR Officer to work for a fantastic School based in Coleshill

The role As a HR Officer you will develop and promote the human resources function within the Foundation of schools by providing high quality and timely HR advice and support. You will build excellent working relationships with the wonderful Headteachers and staff. You will support and care for the staff so they can support and care for the children and young people.
You will be required to work between 37 hours per week Term time only + 2 weeks. The role is temporary with a view to going permanent.

Basic job responsibilities:

* Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
* Provide counselling on policies and procedures
* Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
* Create and implement effective onboarding plans
* Develop training and development programs
* Assist in performance management processes
* Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
* Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
* Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
